This robust professional machine delivers the highest possible bale density and is designed especially for large farms, contractors and machine rings. The variable system for round bales between 60 and 200 cm in diameter and 120 cm wide enables optimum adaptation to each crop - silage, hay or straw.
The variable press chamber with five wide belts is new. Two aggressive rollers start turning the bale early to ensure the bale has a high-density core.
The high-performance 2.20 m wide pick-up gathers up even the widest of swaths. This baler features a new centre-mounted suspension arm to give the pick-up the greatest freedom of movement, which, in combination with the two height-adjustable rubber jockey wheels, ensures optimum ground hugging.
The five rows of tines and a levelling plate with swath roller guarantee the crop is picked up tidily. Two large feeder augers convey the material into the intake duct.
Net binding system The net binding system supplied as standard for 130 cm wide rolls of netting ensures that the tidy edges of the bales are protected. The result: solid, stable bales - no air pockets form during wrapping. The bale ejector is also standard equipment. The bales roll out of the machine reliably without having to stop and reset the baler mechanism.
Supercut – chopping system The generously-proportioned rotor has 4 offset rows of tines for smooth operation without power peaks. A practical reversing system is supplied as standard, as is the central chain lubrication system for the main drives and pick-up. The Supercut chopping system with 25 knives guarantees a shortness of cut unique for round balers, delivering the best bale density and forage quality. The proven individual knife protection system fitted to Pöttinger loader wagons is now also standard equipment on VARIOPROFI balers. Both the knife release system and the knife bank can be operated hydraulically - offering the highest degree of comfort from the tractor's seat.
Select-Control operator panel The Select Control operator panel displays all the information the driver needs and enables comfortable operation for a long working day in the field.
The pressure in the bale chamber can be preset using the Select Control operator panel. This enables the pressure exerted on each zone of the bale (core, middle, edges) to be preselected individually. An optimum match to varying operating conditions can be achieved, e.g. soft core bales for hay. The bale diameter can be set in steps of two centimetres.
