Sharpen your senses for grassland

International Grassland Day - South Tyrol, 28th May 2011

Under the motto "Sharpen your senses for grassland" a wide range of grassland equipment was demonstrated in the field on 28th May 2011 at the International Grassland Day in Sarntal / Italy. A full program of presentations and demos provided a detailed analysis of grassland processes.

At the International Grassland Day in Sarntal (South Tyrol) Pöttinger provided an impressive show of power and productivity with its equipment for grassland and alpine farming. The demo area of 5 hectares had been very well prepared by the event organisers and the various brands of mowers, tedders, rakes and loader wagons were put through there paces. In addition to the impressive sight of machines in action in the field, around 3,000 visitors could also attend interesting presentations and exhibitions. Pöttinger was a major attraction with its NOVACAT alpha-motion and NOVAALPIN mowers, a tedder and a rake.
