Bulagro opens new service centre
Pöttinger dealership well represented in eastern Bulgaria
Bulagro Maschini, the Pöttinger dealership in Bulgaria, sets a milestone for the future by recently opening a new service and sales centre in Dobrich (eastern Bulgaria). Dobrich has around 104,000 inhabitants and is a cultural and industrial centre in a traditionally cereal crop growing area between the lower reaches of the Danube and the Black Sea.
The opening of this subsidiary means that farmers in this important agricultural region of northeast Bulgaria can now obtain professional advice and rely on excellent service. Bulagro Maschini has been a Pöttinger sales partner for nine years and offers end customers solutions, systems and quality products for farm mechanisation. In addition to Pöttinger machines Bulagro Maschini also offers John Deere tractors and combines as well as Schäffer loaders. Bulagro Maschini belongs to the Bulagro Group, which brings together a number of different organisations: BULAGRO ÖL, AGRITRACK (machines from Valtra, Bredal and Hardi), BULGARO Plants, BULGARO Insurance Services, etc. The group employs more than 100 people and has been part of the agricultural landscape for many years.
Bulgaria was severely hit by the economic crisis. The effects are still very much in evidence. However, Hristofor Bunardzhiev - CEO of the Bulagro Group - is optimistic that things are on the way up again because there are already signs of positive development. With the opening of the new service centre the dealership will help Pöttinger be closer to its customers and promote all round success.
