Prime Pöttinger farm in Hungary shows what it can do
Top class grassland and stall technology
An impressive grassland demonstration took place at the beginning of June at a prime Pöttinger farm operation near Budapest in Hungary. On the 9th and 10th of June around 130 invited guests were offered a mixture of presentations and practical demonstrations.
The impressive stalls were built in 2008 and the first machines purchased from Pöttinger: a NOVACAT 306 F alpha-motion mower, a TOP 851 windrower and a JUMBO 6600 L combiline silage and harvest wagon. There are currently around 100 cattle on the farm for dairy production and fattening.

On the morning of this major grassland event, seminars were held on the subject of dairy cattle, silage making, etc. The Pöttinger specialist Laszlo Szasz presented a lecture on Pöttinger grassland and loader wagon technology. The following equipment was in operation during the field demonstrations in the afternoon:
- Mowers: NOVACAT 306 F alpha-motion RC and NOVACAT 265 H CRW
- Tedder: HIT 610 N
- Rake: TOP 851 A multitast
- Loader wagon: JUMBO 10000 L
- Round bale press and wrapping machine: VARIOPROFI 6165 farmer, ROLLPROFI G 400
- Compact TERRADISC 3000 disc harrow
- SYNKRO 3003 stubble cultivator
- SERVO 45 5-furrow plough
- And a JUMBO 6600 L combiline
