Warragul Field Days (AU), Pöttinger assistant reports
Austrian agricultural technique in Australia
Ines Märzendorfer, the daughter of our outbound logistics manager assists the Australian Pöttinger Team for several months. Her first big mission: the Warragul Field Days in Victoria, in the south-east of Australia. She sent us a report and some photos.
As the Warragul Field Days are one of the biggest and most popular agricultural events in Victoria, Poettinger Australia of course was determined to represent its products there.
Although the number of visitors stayed far beyond expectations, a lot of farmers were interested in Poettinger machinery, and especially the JUMBO 7200 combiline drew the attention of the audience. Together with R.E.N. Machinery and Donalda Motors – the Poettinger dealers around Warragul - Poettinger Australia attempted to persuade the visitors of the quality of the machines.
For the first time, farmers could not only inspect the products but also take part in a lottery to win a high quality toolbox. On the last day, the CEO of the Warragul Field Days – Mark Cockerell – announced the winner: Mr. Kerr, living in Melbourne, is now the new owner of the toolbox and we hope that he rejoices in his prize for a long time.
