Pöttinger hosts AMA plaque awards ceremony
Austrian agricultural minister Josef Pröll handed over the plaques
26 new AMA plaques were presented during an awards ceremony held in the Pöttinger Customer Centre in Grieskirchen on 22 August 2008. Leading agricultural businesses that operate to strict guidelines in addition to fulfilling legal criteria are awarded this plaque by the AMA (Agricultural Marketing Board, Austria) in recognition of their achievements. Austrian agricultural minister, Josef Pröll, handed over the plaques in the company of the head of agriculture for the Upper Austrian government, Josef Stockinger, and the head of the AMA board, Günter Griesmayr.
For this event Pöttinger provided very attractive surroundings, which impressed visitors and VIPs. The multimedia room "Spotlight" with seating for 72 people and the very latest media technology and an imposing atmosphere provided the venue for this ceremony, which was a unique experience for all involved.
During the plant tour afterwards, taking in the new assembly line building, the participants were able to gain a positive impression of the innovative power behind the agricultural manufacturer in Grieskirchen.
