Personnel changes in Sales and Marketing
New structure due to the high growth
Pöttinger's turnover has more than doubled in the last five years. A new structure has been created within the company to support ongoing success.
Four sales divisions for perfect market support
Following the merging of Sales in Austria and Germany under the leadership of Michael Bruckmüller in October last year, the Export sector has now been restructured to form three divisions: Gerd Kislinger will look after the Pöttinger core markets and the division responsible for western Europe and Africa. Horst Hartl has taken on the division responsible for eastern Europe and the CIS, while Franz Teuschl will look after southern Europe and the rest of the world.
The Sales logistics department, headed by Daniel Ratzberger, and Distribution logistics department, led by Walter Märzendorfer, will also support the ongoing growth in sales.
Marketing Management in new hands
Petra Kuchinka took over leadership of Marketing and Advertising on January 1, 2008. Armed with a degree in economics, Kuchinka has been responsible for strategic marketing at Pöttinger since 2006. In her new function, Kuchinka is responsible for national and international marketing campaigns with the objective of strengthening the Pöttinger brand.
New Product Management Department
Thomas Reiter will be devoting himself to technology, his key area of competence, to pioneer the new department at Pöttinger "Product Management and National/International Sales Promotion". Reiter has been part of the Pöttinger success story over the last ten years and played a significant role in the strong growth of the company. The objective is to integrate customers' needs more in development to deliver more application-specific and successful product solutions.
