Pöttinger TERRASEM 6000 in the Ukraine
Increase in profit
Wolodymyr Oleksandrovych Didkivskyj, owner of the private farming company "Erchiki" operates a 5,150 hectare arable farm in the Pobelna/Zhytomir region, including a herd of 2,850 cattle.
The Zhytomir region has a deep layer of dark rich soil offering the very highest possible yield. With precipitation of 600 mm per annum, this area has one of the mildest continental climates. Rainfall is very unpredictable, however. A dry spring and dry autumn with 30 mm of rain per month often create difficulties during seedbed preparation and drilling.

In a seminar on cultivation, attended by the entire Zhytomir government, he explained that his internal yield archives demonstrate that, thanks to the improved drill technology provided by the PÖTTINGER TERRASEM 6000, he was able to increase cereal crop yields by 22 %. |

Mr. W. O. Didikivskyj concluded by stating that the purchase of a PÖTTINGER TERRASEM 6000 will very quickly pay its own way thanks to the increase in yield and reduction of costs
